VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Punjab Transport Company is wholly owned company of Government of Punjab registered under Company’s Ordinance 1984 (now Companies Act 2017).

The Punjab Transport Company invites applications from eligible candidates for its Project Management Units (PMUs) & Project Implementation Units (PIUs) for the period of 12 months. The PMUs & PIUs will serve core internal cell, structured to monitor construction progress, support decision workflows, ensure project documentation integrity, and facilitate timely resolution of technical and contractual matters in alignment with the wider implementation framework for the project schemes.

Project Management Unit (PMU) Staff

1. Project Director

No. of Post(s): 01

• Gross Salary (Inclusive of All Benefits & applicable Taxes PKR/Month): 950,000

• Required Qualification & Experience:
  • Master’s Degree, preferably in Civil Engineering/Engineering Management, Project Management, or related field from an HEC recognized university.
  • Age limit 50 Years.
  • At least 15 years of post-qualification experience. Minimum 10 years of experience in planning / management of large-scale infrastructure / development projects. Experience in Procurement, Contract management, Project planning, and stakeholder coordination.

2. Chief Engineer

No. of Post(s): 01

• Gross Salary (Inclusive of All Benefits & applicable Taxes PKR/Month): 850,000

• Required Qualification & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Transportation Engineering from an HEC-recognized university. Master Degree shall be preferred.
  • Age limit 50 Years.
  • Minimum 15 years of professional experience. At least 8 years in infrastructure or transport projects including Depots / Building construction and management.

3. Manager (Procurement & Contracts)

No. of Post(s): 01

• Gross Salary (Inclusive of All Benefits & applicable Taxes PKR/Month): 568,750

• Required Qualification & Experience:
  • Master in Economics / Business Administration / Economics, or BSC Engineering, or Supply Chain Management from an HEC-recognized university.
  • Age limit 50 Years.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience. Experience in public procurement and contract administration.

4. Manager (Admin & Finance)

No. of Post(s): 01

• Gross Salary (Inclusive of All Benefits & applicable Taxes PKR/Month): 568,750

• Required Qualification & Experience:
  • MBA, M.Com, 16 years of Education in Economics, ACCA, ACMA, or equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized university.
  • Age limit 50 Years.
  • Minimum 10 years of overall experience in Administration and Finance. Experience in public sector infrastructure projects shall be preferred.

5. Manager (Engineering)

No. of Post(s): 03

• Gross Salary (Inclusive of All Benefits & applicable Taxes PKR/Month): 568,750

• Required Qualification & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering or related from an HEC-recognized university.
  • Age limit 50 Years.
  • Minimum 08 years of overall experience in building construction design, supervision, and project planning, execution. Experience in public sector building infrastructure projects shall be preferred.

6. Manager (Internal Audit)

No. of Post(s): 01

• Gross Salary (Inclusive of All Benefits & applicable Taxes PKR/Month): 568,750

• Required Qualification & Experience:
  • MBA, M-Com, 16 years of Education in Economics, ACCA, ACMA, or equivalent from an HEC-recognized university.
  • Age limit 50 Years.
  • Minimum 10 years of Audit experience. Experience in public sector shall be preferred.

7. Deputy Manager (Legal)

No. of Post(s): 01

• Gross Salary (Inclusive of All Benefits & applicable Taxes PKR/Month): 450,000

• Required Qualification & Experience:
  • LLB from HEC-recognized University. LLM shall be preferred.
  • Age limit 50 Years.
  • Minimum 08 years of relevant legal experience. Experience in public sector shall be preferred.

8. Assistant Manager (Procurement & Contract)

• Required Qualification & Experience:
  • Master in Economics / Business Administration / Economics, or BSC Engineering, or Supply Chain Management or equivalent from an HEC recognized university.

  • Minimum 05 years of relevant experience. Experience in public procurement and contract administration will be preferred.

9. Assistant Manager (Finance)

  • M.Com, MBA (Finance), 16 years of education in Economics or equivalent from an HEC-recognized university.

1. Assistant Manager (Civil)

• Required Qualification & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering or related from an HEC-recognized university.
  • Age limit 40 Years.
  • Minimum 05 years of overall experience in Construction Supervision, Infrastructure development and Project planning, Designing & Execution. Experience in Public sector building infrastructure projects shall be preferred.

2. Assistant Manager (Electrical)

• Gross Salary (Inclusive of All Benefits & applicable Taxes PKR/Month): 250,000

• Required Qualification & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related from an HEC-recognized university. Master Degree shall be preferred.
  • Age limit 40 Years.
  • Minimum 05 years of experience in Electrical systems, power distribution, substations, electrical installations, or EV charging infrastructure. Experience in public sector infrastructure projects shall be preferred.

3. Assistant Manager (Health & Safety)

• Gross Salary (Inclusive of All Benefits & applicable Taxes PKR/Month): 300,000

• Required Qualification & Experience:
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Occupational Health & Safety, or equivalent from an HEC-recognized university. Relevant HSE certifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, etc.) shall be preferred.
  • Age limit 40 years.
  • Minimum 05 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental management on infrastructure or construction projects. Experience in public sector infrastructure projects shall be preferred.

4. Sub Engineer

No. of Post(s): 06

• Gross Salary (Inclusive of All Benefits & applicable Taxes PKR/Month): 150,000

• Required Qualification & Experience:
  • Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related from a recognized institute.
  • Age limit 45 years.
  • Minimum 05 years of experience in Supervision of Civil/Electrical works, Site inspections, measurements, and construction/installation monitoring.

5. Quantity Surveyor

• Gross Salary (Inclusive of All Benefits & applicable Taxes PKR/Month): 144,800

• Required Qualification & Experience:
  • Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related from a recognized institute. Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering will be preferred.
  • Age limit 45 years.
  • Minimum 05 years of experience in quantity surveying, cost estimation, BOQ preparation, and measurement of construction works.

6. Associate (Admin)

• Gross Salary (Inclusive of All Benefits & applicable Taxes PKR/Month): 141,750

• Required Qualification & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (minimum 14 years of education) from an HEC-recognized university.
  • Age limit 45 years.
  • Minimum 07 years of office management experience in a public sector organization.
