Vital Pakistan Trust is hiring for the “Quality Improvement & Patient Safety Specialist“position.

Position Description:

Kohi Goth Hospital and Vital Pakistan Trust are looking to hire a Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Specialist. The individual will be responsible for inspecting the conditions affecting patient care, promoting systemic patient safety, identifying adverse events, incidences & complaints, and helping to advance and implement plans to prevent patient maltreatment. S/he should have strong analytical and communication skills and be comfortable both at the field level as well as interacting with senior management and project leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage effective compliance with quality and patient safety standards.
• Plan and organize effective quality and patient safety internal and external audits as per schedule.
• Manage timely closure of all internal and external audit findings.
• Prepare and promptly share specified quality and patient safety reports with respective teams and leadership.
• Handle patients’ complaints, incident/event reporting, and risk management processes.
• Prepare, review, and update Quality and Patient safety policies, procedures, pathways, and guidelines.
  •Any other task assigned by the line manager.

Position Specifications:

• You should have an MBBS & MBA – Health Management/Public Health or equivalent qualification in a related area with at least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong leadership and management skills to influence and facilitate healthcare teams in changing existing day-to-day practices to the best evidence-based practices.
• Ability to deliver effective education and training sessions on various topics/aspects of quality, healthcare quality & patient safety, and various quality standards and frameworks.
