Standard Chartered Bank Jobs Description:

• Product Programme Management: Ensure that Country Addendums to product programs are approved and kept up to date for all Trade products (both conventional and Islamic). Also must ensure that CA reflects all country-specific/Central Bank deviations and that any related risks are identified and controls/mitigants suggested.
• Product Development: Lead in the identification and prioritization of product & channel requirements and gaps (i.e. development of CVP, PAR etc) in the country, make recommendations for new development and secure funding where necessary.
• Project Management & UAT: Lead project management activities related to new product development and involved in conducting user acceptance testing activities.
• Product Launch: Manage the local implementation of new products and/or enhancements developed to meet country needs.
• Product Support: Provide initial (3-6 months) support to the local sales team on new products and/or channels, including major enhancements. This includes arranging product training sessions for the sales team and ensuring that products/channels are properly supported by IS and Service Delivery following their introduction.
• Performance Management: With inputs from Sales, Solution Delivery, Finance, and Service Delivery coordinate the circulation of various reports listing utilization and volumes. Work with Out Serve, Service Delivery, and Sales in seeking customer feedback on bank service levels and related initiatives.
• Trade Corridors: Identify profitable Trade Corridors that the bank can target by carrying out analysis on Trade volumes, flows, and revenue opportunities
• Financial: Act as a knowledge expert on the product sets including financials (P&L, Balance sheet, KPI’s etc) and coordinate annual budgets & ongoing forecasts. Provide suggestions to improve profitability & performance and implement any approved recommendations.
• Competitor / Capability Analysis Market: Understand the local market in terms of size, share, structure, potential, customer segmentation, buyer behaviors and competitor analysis within the country (and region) for the relevant product sets. Lead market research as required.
