JOB OPPORTUNITY Relationship Manager – Corporate & Investment Banking – Karachi / SSC Lahore

The organization is seeking a Relationship Manager at the Assistant Manager or Manager level for its Corporate & Investment Banking Department located at the Head Office and Lahore Office. Candidates should satisfy the following criteria:

Required Qualification

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an HEC-recognized university or institute.
• Applicants with a degree in banking or finance receive preference.

Experience

• Requires 1–3 years of experience.
• Preference is given to applicants with background in Corporate or Investment Banking.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Execute credit and investment tasks including financial analysis, project evaluation, and marketing activities.
• Draft credit approval memorandums following company-specific guidelines.
• Collaborate across internal departments for approvals, tracking, legal clearances, disbursements, and client requests (such as NOCs and general queries).
• Oversee portfolio compliance regarding internal guidelines and State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) rules, covering insurance, security, documentation, e-CIB, Form-29, covenants, invoicing, payments, and NOC generation.
• Support SBP, internal, and external audits alongside annual budget planning.
• Conduct sector studies, monitor economic trends, track fiscal policies, and evaluate legal framework developments.
• Lead business development initiatives through strategic marketing and manage client relationships to expand the portfolio.
• Perform financial and credit assessments ensuring data accuracy and memorandum integrity.
• Partner with risk management and related units for streamlined credit approvals and client assistance.
• Stay current on regulatory frameworks, legal changes, SOPs, and market dynamics to maintain compliance.
• Draft internal and external communications, including call reports, formal letters, and memorandums.
• Use designated software for continuous data entry and maintenance.
• Assist in regulatory, internal, and external auditing procedures.
