Midas Safety is hiring an Analyst– Controlling & Reporting

We are looking for a detail-oriented Chartered Accountant to own the books, financial statements and statutory audits of the Group’s holding and offshore entities. The role sits within the Controlling & Shared Services function and reports to the Head of Controlling & Shared Services.
This role is scoped at a Deputy Manager level.

Location: Karachi, Pakistan

Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
• 2–3 years of post-qualification industry experience in accounting, controlling, or financial reporting
• Sound knowledge of financial statement preparation, general-ledger accounting, and month-end/year-end close
• Familiarity with statutory audit processes and IFRS / applicable reporting standards
• Strong cost and expense analysis and reporting skills
• Advanced Excel
• Working knowledge of SAP or any other ERP system – will be working closely with SAP as part of this role
• Close attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical thinking
• Good communication and coordination skills, including with external auditors. Key Responsibilities
• Maintain the books of the Group’s holding and offshore entities, ensuring all transactions and expenses are recorded accurately and on time.
• Prepare the financial statements for these entities and ensure timely, accurate periodic reporting.
• Drive the statutory audits of the offshore entities to completion — coordinating with external auditors and closing out queries.
• Support cost controlling, reporting and optimization for the holding and offshore entities, including expense monitoring and cost-allocation reviews.
• Maintain financial policies and manuals and ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements.
• Develop and integrate business intelligence reports to strengthen financial management and decision-making.
• Support the risk-management framework and internal controls for the businesses.
• Ensure reconciliations and controls are performed on time, and records remain audit-ready.
