Position: Data Analyst

DEPARTMENT	EXPERIENCE
Directorate of Academics	Relevant expertise in data analysis, AI tools, reporting, documentation, and academic processes

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collect, organize, validate, and maintain academic and institutional data from various departments.
• Keep up to date regarding all academic policies of HEC and relevant accreditation bodies, OBE framework, Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) cycles, Self-Assessment Reports (SARs), etc.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using the latest AI tools, as well as Power BI and Microsoft Excel.
• Support academic audits, accreditation, and performance monitoring through data-driven analysis.
• Prepare and maintain professional documentation, including policies, SOPs, annual reports, meeting minutes, and institutional submissions.
• Prepare reports and presentations for the different forums.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automate routine reporting where possible.
• Coordinate with academic and administrative departments to ensure timely and accurate data collection and reporting.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Director Academics.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related discipline.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

• Advanced proficiency in the latest AI tools for data analysis, visualization, presentations, and report writing.
• Knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong report writing and presentation development skills.
• High attention to detail, organizational skills, confidentiality, and ability to manage multiple assignments.
• Knowledge of the OBE framework and its components, higher education policies, and accreditation processes will be considered a plus.
