Exciting Opportunity: Assistant Manager – Utilities Maintenance
Location: Korangi, Karachi

Thal Engineering is seeking a dedicated and technically skilled Assistant Manager – Utilities Maintenance to ensure the smooth operation, upkeep, and reliability of utility systems within our facility. The role requires a strong engineering background, hands-on experience in maintenance, and the ability to manage utilities efficiently to support uninterrupted plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of utility equipment, including compressors, chillers, boilers, HVAC systems, generators, and water treatment plants.
• Monitor daily operations to ensure optimal performance, energy efficiency, and compliance with safety standards.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and checklists.
• Manage maintenance records, utility consumption data, and performance reports.
• Coordinate with production, safety,t, and engineering teams for smooth utility support.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• Experience: 4–6 years of experience in utilities maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setup.
• Strong technical knowledge of utility systems and maintenance planning.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proactive approach with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
