JOB SUMMARY: To ensure smooth operations and maximum productivity to achieve sales objectives of the department through accurate inventory control, adherence to merchandising standards, good personnel management, and development.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The department manager's task is to make sure his department performs well in sales.
Informs his employees about specific sales techniques they might need to improve upon.
Handles the important role of monitoring stock.
Minimizes shrinkages through proper handling of merchandise & ensuring strict compliance with FIFO.
Organizes orders in sufficient quantities to guarantee customer satisfaction.
Checks regularly during the day, the availability, timeliness, and accuracy.
Ensures cleanliness and good housekeeping in the work area.
Manages, motivates, and Organizes rosters and holidays of staff.
Imparts training of store staff and equips them with the skills to understand and fulfill customer needs.

QUALIFICATION & SKILLS:

Minimum Intermediate/Preferred Graduate
4+ years of experience in a similar role in the retail industry.
Sales & Inventory Management.
Customer Services.
People Management.
Communication Skills
