We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Networking in Lahore, to lead network & operation management teams. This leadership role requires a blend of advanced technical knowledge, strategic thinking, and excellent management skills to ensure the performance, reliability, and security of our complex network and IT systems.

EXPERIENCE

• At least 8-10 years of relevant experience in IT operations & network management roles.
• 3-5 years of leadership experience in IT operations.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Led the design, implementation, & management of the bank’s network and IT infrastructure, including data centers, WAN, LAN, and network security.
• Develop a network strategy aligned with business goals to support growth and scalability.
• Implement advanced technologies like SDN, NFV, and cloud networking solutions.
• Ensure high availability and redundancy of network services, establishing disaster recovery strategies.
• Optimize performance of network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Collaborate with IT security teams to maintain network security protocols and conduct regular assessments.
• Establish policies for network monitoring, incident response, and change management, prioritizing user experience.
• Lead incident and problem management for timely resolution of IT issues.
• Collaborate on IT projects like cloud services and unified communications.
• Mentor a team of network engineers, stay updated on industry trends, and assess their impact on operations.
• Manage budgets and resources to achieve strategic initiatives while optimizing costs.
• Serve as the primary liaison for network and IT operations with vendors and stakeholders.

CORE TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Proven experience in managing large-scale, complex network architectures, including cloud connectivity and hybrid environments. Must possess hands-on experience in deploying and managing SDN e.g. Cisco ACI.
• Advanced knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, and VPNs.
• Proficient in configuring and managing enterprise-grade network solutions and multi-tenant architecture. Strong knowledge of VMWare and DC virtualization.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, ZTNA, SDP, IAM, etc.
• Experience in managing NOC operations, SP, coordination, and negotiations.
• Familiar with VoIP, CUCM, and other collaboration platforms.
• Strong understanding of VMWare, Open-shift, containerization, and knowledge of micro-services architecture.
• Experience with, ITSM, incident, problem, and change management.
• Familiarity with ITIL, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, and  NIST frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, & decision-making capabilities.
• Strong communication, leadership & interpersonal skills to lead the teams

CERTIFICATIONS: CISSP, CCIE, CCNP equivalent
