Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited is looking for talented professionals for its Trustee & Custodial Services Department having the following particulars:

Department: Trustee & Custodial Services

Job Title: Senior Officer

Nature of Position: Permanent

No. of Positions: Multiple
Experience: Two years or more experience in Asset Management Companies or Treasury Operations of any Company would be an additive advantage. Candidates having 3 years of experience in Operations / Finance in other sectors are also encouraged to apply.

Qualification: Masters in Business Administration (Finance & Accounting) or equivalent, ACCA/ICMA Qualified (Preferred)/ Finalist with only one to two papers remaining.

Job Responsibilities:
The incumbent will be responsible for leading a team (desk) comprised of three staff looking after the day-to-day operations of the assigned desk and assisting the respective Head of the Section in Trustee & Custodial Operations. In every Section, Settlement (equity and money market), Unit Management, Payments, Bank Operations including bank reconciliations, withholding tax, and other related settlement services are being provided to assign Asset Management Companies having different types of Mutual Funds and Discretionary Portfolio Clients. Major responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

· Responsible for ensuring and monitoring daily and monthly compliance with the assigned Funds as required under Constitutive Documents, SECP Directives/Circulars, VPS Rules, and NBFC Regulations
· Reconciliation and monitoring of the investment portfolio of the assigned Funds
· Analyze and forward non-compliances to the Section Head for reporting to SECP.
· Review and assist in Bank Reconciliations, transfer of funds, account opening, closing, and all matters related to banking Operations.
· Responsible for processing unit holder’s transactions including the Sale of Units, Redemptions, and Conversions.
· Responsible for reconciling unit holders' accounts and resolving any discrepancies.
· Responsible for all allowable payment processing of assigned Funds such as tax payments, brokerage, sales load, and the payments of other expenses.
· Responsible for end-to-end execution with verification of Equity and Money Market Settlements.
· Assist in performing a review of Annual and Half-yearly financial statements of the assigned Funds.
· Collaborate with other teams and departments to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
· Liaising with Banks, AMCs, Investment advisors, Registrars, Brokers, Clients, etc. for the day-to-day operations of assigned clients.

Nature of Position: Permanent

No. of Positions              : Multiple

Experience: Two years or above experience in Compliance, legal & regulatory role in Asset Management Companies or minimum three years in Compliance Department of any other Non-Banking Finance Company.

Qualification: Master’s in Business Administration - Finance or equivalent, ACCA/ICMA Finalist. Familiar with NBFC Rules, VPS Rules, 2005, NBFC Regulations, 2008 and Master Circular of SECP

Job Description:

·        Assist Compliance Manager in overseeing the overall compliance section.
·        Develop, implement and maintain compliance policies and procedures.
·        Conduct regular compliance monitoring and checking as required under NBFC Regulations, Constitutive Document and SECP circulars/directives.
·        Assist in development of required compliances and modules in system.
·        Collaborate with internal audit and SECP.
·        Liaison with Operational Sections for compliance related matters.
·        Assist in responding to regulatory inquiries and inspections.
·        Keep up to date with changing regulations and best practices.
