Habib Metro Jobs Senior Manager Taxation:

HABIBMETRO is inviting applications for “Senior Manager Taxation”, and “AVP / VP” for the Finance Division.

Experience:- 5 or more years of experience in a similar role.

Technical Skillset:-

· Strong financial analysis and interpretation of financial statements.
· In-depth knowledge of direct and indirect taxation laws and updated tax accounting.
· Adequate knowledge of International Tax Treaties.
· Detailed understanding of international accounting standards including IAS & IFRS.

Regular Duties:-

· Preparation of tax returns on a timely basis for all the jurisdictions including but not limited to regulators in Pakistan’s Federal and Provincial as well as AJK & GB jurisdictions.
· Handling tax audits including finalization of open tax years. Liaison with tax authorities, tax advisors, and Lawyers and provide relevant information and details.
· Periodic calculation of current and deferred tax provisions and recording periodic tax entries to cover the tax liabilities and contingencies by accounting policy, International Accounting Standards, and GAP.
· Management, application, and compliance of the withholding tax regime as applicable to the banks under federal and provincial taxation laws.
· Identification and mitigation of tax risks.
· Tax advisory to internal stakeholders.
