Position: Project Trainee

Location: Karachi

Job Summary: The Project Trainee will assume a significant role in our company’s field operations, providing support and supervision to the farm managers and farmers. This position is responsible for various field-related tasks that contribute to the achievement of project goals and organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain continuous communication and collaboration with farm managers to manage & plan harvest scheduling
  • Supervise quality checks at the farm level & take corrective measures.
  • Perform GRN physically on all the designated locations according to the visit plan shared by the Agri Manager NFL
  • Supervise all the purchase activities, cross verify the weight & quality of the produce Daily.
  • Collect data from farmers, review it, and share it with the NFL.
  • Engage with stakeholders on-site and ensure the continuous exchange of information.
  • Acquire market knowledge and share information related to value chains, specifically tomatoes.
  • Must have the ability to manage stakeholders on the ground.

Qualifications:

  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in agriculture, with a preference for candidates holding a master’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to use relevant software tools and equipment, particularly in field data collection and field marking.
  • Be prepared to travel and work in remote or challenging environments as required.
  • Must have the ability to check on field officers both in terms of financial & operational responsibilities

Position: Manager Taxation

Job Purpose: Assist the Head of Financial Control in managing tax function following the organization’s policies and procedures

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with a tax consultant for response to tax notices.
  • Responsible for legally minimizing tax liabilities through the informed application of tax laws and regulations
  • Remain up-to-date on the latest tax and accounting laws, regulations, codes, and theories to ensure that the company remains fully compliant.
  • Prepare tax calculations, estimates, and reports accruals and partner with other departments to provide guidance/support on tax aspects
  • Ensure tax compliance, reporting, and filing works for the Group.
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of all corporate and GST returns for local companies and international subsidiaries.
  • Liaise with tax authorities and provide tax audit support to consultants.
  • Assist in managing external tax authorities and consultants locally and internationally.
  • Prepare current and deferred tax provisions.
  • Assist in providing internal tax advisory services and support on business operation matters to the Group
  • Coordinate ad-hoc tax-driven business initiatives locally or internationally.
  • Assist in tax planning, tax saving, and tax preparation services and strategies as needed or when the opportunity becomes available.

Background Requirements:

  • Education: Minimum Masters’ in Finance / CA / ACMA / ACCA
  • Experience: 5-8 years of experience in corporate taxation (Local and international).

Skill Requirements:

  • Technically strong with solid knowledge and experience in Pakistan corporate tax compliance, Income Tax, and GST.
  • Knowledge of International taxation laws and regulations (especially Canada, UK, and UAE) and double tax treaties.
  • Working knowledge of SAP to enable data extraction and reconciliation.

Position: Zonal Sales Manager

Location: Mardan

Job Purpose: To execute sales plans for assigned zones, within the context of the overall corporate plan

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with the sales team, supply chain business partner, and distributors to develop a process to manage trade stock freshness. Ensure compliance with the process, identify resources required, and highlight deviations.
  • Collaborate with supply chain business partners to educate distributors on FIFO management. Highlighting slow-moving stock to manage trade expiries. Liaise with CALs to develop liquidation plans for slow-moving stock.
  • Collate Sales Returns data entered into Crystal. Analyse sales return data monthly and share action points with regional as well as national leadership teams.
  • Ensure the Sales Returns Policy is updated, communicated, and followed by the sales team.
  • Articulate and present monthly root cause analysis for Sales Returns providing recommendations for improvement.

Job Purpose: To assist the Brand Manager/Senior Brand Manager in the implementation of a marketing strategy for one or more of the organization’s products to meet established sales or market share targets.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform a range of activities to effectively market assigned products/services, such as identifying market research; overseeing product development and design; launching new products; overseeing advertising campaigns; and monitoring sales performance.
